Sting

Re-energizing the packaging of the APAC market leader

Pepsico’s APAC market leading energy drink Sting had been using the same standard bottle since it’s launch. Design Group Italia was asked to develop a new disruptive design that could be owned exclusively by the brand, reflecting its core values and standing out from competitors. The resulting design is bold and authentic, with the structural packaging inspired by the lighting, the hero of the brand identity. It represents the energy inside the bottle that is being released direct to the consumer.

Unilever Vertical Sensitive

Radical innovation in the FMCG category

As part of a long partnership of innovation and brand guardianship in oral care, we partnered with Unilever to create Vertical Sensitive.
With it, we set out to design a toothbrush that simply and intuitively facilitates the correct brushing motion. The design of the Vertical Expert handle with its cylindrical 360° radial grip zone prompts the user to rotate the toothbrush between their fingers, facilitating the vertical toothbrush motion recommended by dentists. The bristles and the head design complete the impact.

Unilever Alfred

Building potential in FMCGs through CMF design

We expanded on the business potential of the multinational's global toothbrush sales, creating value from new finishes and colors around the idea of Himalayan salts and bamboo, all without altering production lines or tooling.

Pepsico Mix it Up

Building brand experiences at Milan Design Week

In coordination and collaboration with the PepsiCo design centre and other designers and chefs, we created the experiential space design, layout, lighting and construction for the international brand's project at Milan Design Week. Here, we outlined the space as a design destination where people could experience the brand's values firsthand in the physical dimension.

The technology is unique in leveraging existing infrastructure to provide additional product options, like mixology, to consumers. With every pour, the connected ecosystem observes the brands and flavors people love, empowering retailers to optimize their offerings based on actual data.

Lay’s

Strategic packaging unlocking global potential

Coordinating packaging design across all regions, we helped PepsiCo Lays to define their product lines within the vast Lay's portfolio, expanding their organization and differentiation. In doing so, we unlocked the power of a global masterbrand, rebuilding their creative consistency.

Working from a user-centered design, we delivered on Tostitos' brand promise of "Making life a party".

PepsiCo

Celebrating a culture of global marketing excellence

Celebrating success is a key to many great companies, and PepsiCo is no exception. Starting with this idea of recognition, Design Group Italia was tapped to create a one-of-a-kind experience for BAM Awards by the PepsiCo Design &Innovation Center along with the Global Marketing team. The result is a spirited onomatopoeia to represent the company’s Best Achievements in Marketing. Our creative team in New York worked on naming, branding, graphics, copywriting, digital touchpoints, and the product design of bespoke trophies.
