Trenitalia, a top-tier railway company, tasked our team with designing the new Frecciapoint: the info-point dedicated to high-speed travelers.
The project came with multiple objectives: to offer a comfortable and efficient work environment for station operators, to ensure the structure could adapt to different station settings, to make it immediately recognizable, and to reflect the premium quality of the Frecciarossa service.
Just as crucial was the need to build a reliable, convenient, and efficient supply chain to support the rollout.
Managing the project’s supply chain required particular attention in order to fulfil Treinitalia’s brief and needs. We carefully selected the most appropriate suppliers.
Modularity was a key design feature: the Frecciapoint was conceived to be easily installed and placed side by side in stations requiring a larger presence.
In line with today’s essential sustainability requirements, these next-generation hubs are built to last. They can be repaired or customised directly at the station, significantly reducing transport costs and enabling rapid intervention when needed.
