Elevating Kone's design strategy and production
Kone, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, came to us for help in defining the design strategy for new lines of elevator cabins. Our team not only designed all of the system elements—modular panels, signage on every floor, COP, buttons, etc.—but also identified the best suppliers to bring the project to life.
As part of over three decades of partnering with the global technology leader ABB, we defined the design strategy for the award-winning ABB Emax 2. Compared to other switches on the market at the time, the attention to its design – both in terms of ease of use for the users of the product, and when it comes to applying design to build a brand in the sector – sets ABB Emax series apart from the rest, having made it a benchmark for the entire sector.

Working together with Vimar, a leading Italian company in electrical equipment and home automation, we articulated an elegant range of switch plates in marble, wood, glass and crystal for the luxury market.
