Julie Blitzer at World Usability Congress 2018

Digital User Experience Manager Julie Blitzer will speak about Cross-Cultural, Multilingual, Localised, Global Design at World Usability Congress, Graz, Austria, on October 17.

Today’s devices, interfaces, screens, and apps are no longer local. Julie speaks on how people from different cultures, languages, and places may interact with digital products and services differently through real-world examples of successes and failures.

Julie Blitzer is our Digital User Experience Manager. She earned a Master in Interaction Design at Domus Academy in Milan and a B.A. in Government from Claremont McKenna College. Julie has worked on projects with B2B, enterprise and consumer, including for startups, e-commerce, consumer electronics, fashion, banking, education, non-profit, and governments.

Julie loves the challenge of working on any kind of interface: apps, websites, interactive installations, and even home appliances. Her recent projects have been focused on Industrial IoT, wearable devices, and Fintech. See some of it here LINK TO DIGITAL PAGE

Julie teaches and mentors for Thinkful, General Assembly, Startup Weekend, Girls Who Code, and more, and has spoken at numerous conferences and events including SXSW Interactive, IxDA’s interaction conference, DroidCon & Netroots Nation. Julie also is a Lecturer at both Domus Academy and Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti locally in Milan.
