Julie lead a panel discussion on cross-cultural, multilingual and localized design. Today’s devices, interfaces, screens and apps are no longer local. The panel introduced empirical research and field experiences on how people from different cultures, languages and places may interact with digital products and services differently through real-world examples of successes and failures. The panelists also offered design heuristics for how to approach interactive projects considering globalisation, multilingualism, and cultural sensitivity. Below a few photos from the event. You’ll find the slides from the panel discussion in our SlideShare.
