GocciaBlu

Designed by Water

As part of the relaunch of the historic premium brand GocciaBlu, owned by Togni Group, we developed a new design for the Original line dedicated to the food service sector.

We began with a thorough analysis and mapping of nearly all the water bottles on the market, identifying the key visual codes.

Then, guided by our Strategy and Branding team’s vision for repositioning the brand, we explored a design language inspired by water and aimed at conveying elegance.

This led us to a sleek silhouette, inspired by the shape of a drop,
enriched with a series of ribs that recall the streaks
left by drops gliding down glass or the many streams of a waterfall.

Fully aware of the technical challenges of glass manufacturing, as well as the requirements of filling and labeling processes, we involved Togni’s operations and R&D teams, together with their glass manufacturer, from the earliest stages.

From the very beginning, our ideation process had to take into accountcritical constraints such as:

  • labeling areas free of bulges
  • maximum height and maximum section
  • two contact points between bottles along the filling line
  • label protection
  • angles and radii to optimize glass distribution in the mold
  • wide production tolerances

This close collaboration ensured a seamless transition from concept to production, allowing us to preserve the design intent throughout the entire process.

“Working within strict constraints doesn’t mean compromising your idea.
It means solving an exciting puzzle — discovering how all pieces fit together to bring your vision to life.”
