Bosch Rexroth, a leading company in industrial automation, offers a vast range of products, including Connected Hydraulics, an advanced technology that harnesses hydraulic intelligence to push boundaries and redefine performance, functionality, and durability in industrial applications.
To better showcase its innovations in this field, the company approached our Product Design team with a request to develop a new demo tool for two key products, designed specifically for display within the company’s showroom.
The project took shape through a detailed redesign of several essential components of the existing demo tool.
The structure, wiring, tubing, console, control panel, and safety barriers were carefully reorganized to create a cohesive and aesthetically harmonious display.
The final product had to do more than simply present Bosch Rexroth’s technological advancements—it needed to tell a story, making complex concepts accessible and compelling to a diverse audience.
The new demo tool was developed with multiple user groups in mind. Among them were production directors, designers, software engineers, and marketing professionals, as well as end users such as operations managers and service personnel.
Top managers and decision-makers, junior technical professionals, and students were also part of the target audience, each requiring a different approach to the storytelling process.
The final result is a compact and thoughtfully designed product, where the areas dedicated to technological demonstration are carefully balanced with elements that reinforce brand identity.
To further enhance usability high-quality materials were selected to ensure scalability, effortless maintenance, and a consistently clean and professional appearance.
This demo tool simplifies technical performance into a clear and engaging narrative, successfully demonstrating the precision, controllability, and sustainability of Bosch Rexroth’s products.
