High-end design for the Intercoms Market
Vimar, leading Italian company in electrical equipment and home automation, entrusted our Product Design team with the co-development of a video entrance panel suitable for one-family homes to four-family compounds based on DueFiliPlus technology.
The goal was to create an iconic product that modernizes the existing range, highly recognizable for its technological and aesthetic performance, and appropriately positioned for the professional market.
After a thorough analysis of competitors, market trends, and their evolution over time, and considering the stylistic and technological elements required for a contemporary, elegant, and accessible product, we defined with Vimar a direction centered on simplicity, minimalism, and elegance.
This approach led to the creation of Roxie: the video intercom plate embodying these aesthetic principles while integrating Vimar’s signature values of solidity, reliability, and durability.
The product’s development focused on creating a design that is both friendly in appearance and contemporary in style, with a high degree of quality rationalization.
Roxie harmoniously combines the simplicity of its form, the clarity of its functions, and the sophistication of a technically advanced yet user-friendly solution.
Every detail of Vimar Roxie has been meticulously designed to provide
a secure, intelligent system for call management and access control.
The plate is crafted from high-quality materials, specifically metallic gray zinc alloy (zamak), offering a modern aesthetic, exceptional robustness, impact resistance (IK08), and weather protection with an IP54 rating.
Vimar Roxie is engineered to deliver long-lasting performance without compromising usability.
Its design has undergone rigorous testing to ensure mechanical, audio, and lighting feasibility, resulting in an exceptional and enduring user experience.
