On the occasion of our 50th anniversary, we invited some of our friends, partners, and design leaders to discuss design at La Triennale di Milano.

Designers have always been on the frontiers of progress, creating new products, services, and realities. While times and challenges change, the need for innovative solutions to difficult challenges remains constant. What will be the role of our profession moving forward into this period of transformation? What is the mindset that it will require?

Speakers included Mauro Porcini, SVP & Chief Design Officer of PepsiCo; Fabio Sergio, Regional Design Director EALA at Fjord; Kaori Shiina, CEO, Hands On Design; Francesco Zurlo, Deputy Dean and Head of Product Design Course, School of Design, Politecnico di Milano; and, with input from Stefano Boeri, architect & president of the La Triennale Foundation, Cono Studio, Giorgio Tartaro and more. The conversation was moderated by journalist Luca de Biase.
