Milan Tips

Chiara Grana

25 September Sep 2017

In this series, our team members share their favorite places – be it restaurants, museums, architecture or aperitivo – to our Milan. First off, here are some of Product Designer Chiara Grana's favorite places in Milan.

Fondazione di Prada and Osservatorio, their gallery space on top of Galleria Victorio Emmanuel II are some of the nicest spaces in Milano. There’s a Marchesi café in the Gallery (and a beautiful bar Luce by Wes Anderson at Fondazione di Prada) for sweets. Hangar Bicocca is a similar place that combines architecture and art.

For concerts and live gigs, head to Magnolia. For books, visit the upstairs bookshop by 10 Corso Como. I would also recommend taking a walk in the old Brera quarters. It’s a beautiful neighborhood with narrow streets, lovely buildings, and a really nice atmosphere.

Chiara is originally from a small town close by Mantua, Lombardia. She moved to Milano to study at IED and has lived in the city ever since. Read more about what Chiara and her team do at DGI here.
